Soar Learning Center is seeking a nurse to provide nursing and support services to children and young adults with emotional and behavioral challenges. Some duties include administering and monitoring psychotropic medications, assisting agency psychiatrists, consulting with community physicians, educating parents and assessing students’ medical conditions. Candidate will hold a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Vermont, or be licensure eligible, have knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments, strong management and organizational skills, knowledge of school and educational procedures and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
