The White River Junction Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WRJVA) is s! eeking 1 (one) full-time BE/BC internist to join our medicine service as hospitalist. The WRJVA is a member of the VA New England Healthcare System and delivers care to Veterans in Vermont and New Hampshire. The Medical Center is a 60-bed, general medical, surgical, psychiatric, geriatric, primary care, and critical care facility.
Specialty services include cardiology, pulmonary, gastroenterology, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology, advanced radiology, general and vascular surgery, orthopedics, urology, podiatry, psychiatry, and hospice care. The WRJVA is closely affiliated with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) and is a core teaching hospital of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Candidates will be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine. Duties for this full time position will focus primarily on the supervision and teaching of housestaff and students on the inpatient medical service with additional responsibilities f! or direct provision of medical consultation and acute care ser! vices.
