Rapidly growing building material supply company is seeking a full time Class B or A driver for flatbed deliveries with truck-mounted forklifts and boom cranes to New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. Position is based out of North Bergen, NJ.
Position Summary:
- Operates a company truck to deliver building materials to and from specified destinations
- Secures cargo to prevent shifting and damage during transport
- Operates auxiliary equipment mounted on truck such as boom cranes and mounted forklifts
- Maintains a professional demeanor and is respectful to customers and coworkers
- Ensures that equipment is in excellent working order and reports issues immediately
- Maintains a clean vehicle, both inside and out
- Exhibits excellent work ethic and dependability
Requirements:
- Reasonably substantial prior commercial driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle record
- Ability to shift a manual 2 tiered truck transmission
- Familiarity with maps and GPS systems
- Strong work ethic and communication abilities
- Must be reliable and motivated
- Willingness to work overtime during busy peak season
- Able to lift 100 pounds
This is a full time position with possible overtime earning potential during the busy peak season months.
