Overview:

We are seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to support our U.S. and Canadian offices with HR administrative and operational questions . Please see position details below:

  • This is fully remote position and can be based in either the U.S. or Canada. We provide all necessary equipment as long as you have your own high-speed internet connection.
  • This will start out as contract position with the possibility of converting into a Gallagher employee.
  • The salary is $20/hr with the possibility of more, depending on experience.
  • We require someone to be fluent in Canadian French (both written and verbal communications).
  • Hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, Eastern Time.
  • While we do not require HR experience, we do require that you have customer service experience working in a call center environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from Gallagher employees with questions on HR policy, procedures, or employee handbook interpretations
  • Responds via email or phone to employment-related inquiries from employees.
  • Assists with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended standard processes
  • Direct employees to the appropriate parties when it comes to employee leave, such as FMLA, STD, etc.
  • Maintain effective communications with all levels of management and staff.
  • Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need.
Qualifications:
Required:

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Fluency in written and verbal Canadian French.
  • Experincence working in a call center environment.
  • Strong typing and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism with clients and establishes a positive rapport with every caller.
