Description

We are seeking an experienced Academic Personnel Analyst to provide support to the Director of Academic Personnel. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating bi-monthly MedCAP meetings and will assist with management of departmental academic personnel database. Conduct thorough review of academic dossiers upon submission to Department level and assist with the preparation of academic dossiers for faculty members. Serve as liaison with the Dean's Office for Academic Affairs and provide training to new academic personnel staff as needed. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient in preparing general and academic personnel-related correspondence. Knowledge of University academic personnel policies and procedures required. Salary Range: $26.96 - $57.90 Hourly

Qualifications

Required: * Experience in Department of Medicine academic personnel. * Working knowledge and understanding of the CALL, Academic Personnel Manual and University academic personnel policies and procedures. * Demonstrated oral and written communication skills to obtain and convey information clearly, accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to compose and create logical and grammatically correct correspondence. Excellent word processing skills. * Attention to detail and ability to track the progression of dossier reviews through various reviewing agencies. * Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision and set priorities in order to meet varying demands, changes in priorities and competing deadlines. * Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive documents and files. * Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access software programs. * Preferred: · Graduation from college with a major in business admin, economics, statistics, educational administration, political science, or an allied field, and two years of experience in administrative analysis or operations research; or an equivalent combination education/experience
