The Greater Sheepshead Bay Development Corporation seeks an experienced and
successful grant writer to obtain several grants to fulfill a mandatory 1/3 match
for its NYS State primary grant.

Greater Sheepshead Bay Development Corporation, (GSBDC) is a non-profit,
community-based HUD-certified housing counseling agency servicing its
a community for the past 45 years, located in South Brooklyn NY. Its mission is to
sustain and preserve affordable housing for its multicultural population. To
continue its housing counseling services we rely on our primary grant from NYS
to pay the expenses for our free services with the proviso that we obtain a
1/3 match $30,000-$40,000 , in categories of housing counseling, weatherization,
eviction prevention, foreclosure prevention, preventing homelessness, and
commercial business counseling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The grant writer will
1. Will write several grants that match our categories
2. Receive quick response turn around after early submission and hopefully acceptance
3. Early deadlines, acceptance before November 2023.
QUALFICATIONS
Grant writing experience, name recent successful grants acceptances
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
