PRIMARY PURPOSE:
It is the primary responsibility of the Dispatcher Food to expedite distribution of room service amenities, and all orders to food servers in a timely manner. Must keep a clean workstation and ensure guest satisfaction.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and distribute order to Food Servers evenly and efficiently; fire order through Micros computers to kitchen lines for timely pick up.Answer phone with professional manner.
Log all food service runs; add up total hours of service personnel for payroll and budgeting purpose at the end of each shift.
Help guests if they need expedited service due to an emergency.
Answer questions the guest may have in a courteous manner and advise of time of delivery when applicable.
Maintain excellent working relationships with Food Servers, Runners, Bus Person, and other fellow employees.
Maintain all safety and sanitation standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledgeable of all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contact including Management, fellow employees and guests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of related experience
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
PREFERRED:
One (1) year of experience in a restaurant as a Bus or Food Runner
Experience working in a similar resort setting.
