The Project Manager partners with key corporate initiatives to manage the client relationship and is responsible for collaborating on the creation, execution, and adaptation, as needed, of assigned client marketing and communications plans. The Project Manager routinely leads project huddles and shares project plans, timelines and constraints as well and takes project notes that are shared with all partners within Marketing & Communications. This role is the key conduit for campaigns and is solely responsible to ensure that all phases of the plan are met as well as serving as the key contact for follow-up with all members of the campaign project team. Responsible for project escalation if not meeting a business or project requirements.

You will execute and report on all phases of the project and resources, using industry standard project management tools and techniques. Ensures that all phases of the project are completed per project timeline and budget and routinely communicates with key partners on any delays that are identified and is responsible for resolving obstacles so that projects are completed on time and within budget.

In this role you routinely generate reports, analytics, and presentations to leadership to explain key concepts and project issues, goals and expectations in a clear and concise method. Primary duties include:

  • Provides end to end project management for reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for large-scale corporate initiatives. Contributes to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, including brand campaigns and strategic projects.
  • Works directly with leadership to map out tasks required to implement the strategic vision of a campaign. Coordinates with the internal creative team to implement a consistent visual identify across all marketing materials while working closely with subject matter experts to create timely collateral for all channels of communication.
  • Works with all key partners to manage the deployment and completion of all aspects and stages of the project assigned. Organizes project teams, assigns responsibilities, develops project schedules and determines resource requirements. Ensures requirements are managed and delivered per project timeline and identifies and mitigates potential risks for implementation.
  • Leads project activities related to organizational change management (e.g., development and execution of user adoption, implementation, and training plans) as defined by each project’s scope of work.
  • Finds opportunities for automation and streamlining of work efforts to support operations at its highest levels. Supports the management and mitigation of project risks by analyzing and identifying trigger events that lead to delays or budget overruns.
  • Develops and documents plans that ensure all necessary preparation, execution tasks and dependencies are identified and included. Ensures that necessary resources and skills are allocated for project success. Assesses needs, evaluates solutions, makes recommendations, and escalates to senior leadership/key partners, if needed.
  • Responsible for the oversight of functional project team including partnering closely with subject matter experts to help gather, assess, and track project deliverables. Hold project team accountable for project deliverables, resolves issues and conflicts, and escalates resource or budget issues.
  • Operates as a full cross-function leader/member of the project team by supporting project leadership and other team members with resolving obstacles, ensuring collaboration between teams and providing project updates and communication.
  • Creates and/or reviews project communications and updates with all partners, in partnership with project leadership. Ensures an effective change management strategy is developed and implemented. Responsible for implementing later phase solutions, if applicable.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Health Administration or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of professional program or project management experience with background in communications, marketing, an academic, foundation, non-profit, healthcare, or corporate environment required.
