WORK SCHEDULE
  • FULL TIME, 100% FTE

  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    The Revenue Integrity team at UW Medicine is responsible for insuring accuracy compliance for charge capture and conducts trend analysis to identify patterns in audit request and charging practices.


    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct comprehensive medical records review for accuracy of billing compliance
  • Trend analysis to identify denial trending patterns
  • Pre-review for Medicare accounts for coding accuracy
  • Process review across UW Medicine



  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Four to five years’ experience:
  • In a hospital based facility – Academic Hospital preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of chargemaster components (CPT codes/HCPCS, revenue codes in a Hospital Based setting
  • Experience in positions that require strong high level attention to detail and critical thinking skills
