The Service Desk Administrator is responsible for providing a centralised desktop support service to internal clients, ensuring all service requests are handled in a professional manner within acceptable timeframes.
As a Service Desk Administrator, your main tasks will include providing support to internal clients experiencing ICT issues, management and escalation of ICT incidents reported to the service desk through to their resolution, and accurate recording of ICT incidents using the Helpdesk system.
Using excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the Service Desk Administrator keeps internal clients informed of progress of their issues, and analyses & reports on incidents and trends, identifying sources of recurring incidents, and potential training and development needs.
The position is Melbourne based however occasional travel to regional Victoria may be required. Flexible working arrangements including working from home options are available.

About the Role:
  • Provide quality technical support in relation to all client requests and promote a positive image of the IT services team.
  • Ensure service desk enquiries and requests in relation to IT issues are appropriately and professionally handled, within acceptable timeframes.
  • Monitor the progress of all service requests, taking ownership and responsibility to ensure closure within agreed timeframes.
  • Opportunities to participate on a range of IT related projects and rollouts, including the development of OPP systems and infrastructure, both in the Cloud and on-premises.
