MUST:
Billing Company currently looking for an experienced Insurance Verification Specialist:
- 3 or more years of experience in verifying insurance required
- Experience working in or for a chiropractic office is a plus
- Must have strong experience and knowledge verifying insurance benefits for multiple providers
- Medical terminology is a must
- Experience using CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes is a MUST
- Familiar with a variety of insurance plans is a MUST
- Familiar with verification terminology and questions to ask while verifying insurance is a MUST
- Must be able to handle multiple clients/offices
- Must be able to handle long hold times with insurances is required
- Must be familiar with verifying and obtaining code specific insurance information via phone and or insurance portals is required
- Knowledgeable and experience using Google Suite is required
- Remote work experience is preferred
DUTIES:
- Obtain insurance eligibility, benefits information, and prior authorization for multiple offices
- Review information obtained for accuracy.
This is a remote position that requires an experienced person that meets the above requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
