Location: Brattleboro, Vermont

• Full time (40 hr) position.

Meadowview Recovery Residence is a 6-bed, staff secure residential home that embodies the recovery model to provide support to adults with men! tal illness to work toward reintegrating into a community setting. The RN Manager is part of a dynamic clinical team and supports the program in the following ways:

• Provides professional nursing supervision and care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness stepping down from extended hospital stays to a less restrictive community residence.
• Supervises a team of LPNs that provide 24 hour nursing coverage.
• Oversees medication orders and records and develops nursing care plans for residents.
• Facilitates psycho-education and health and wellness groups for residents and consults with dietician regarding resident nutrition.
• Initiates consults with medical doctors and psychiatrist for care coordination.
• Interfaces with other treatment providers, Vermont hospitals, other designated mental health agencies and resources throughout the state and community in coordinating care for residents.

Job Requiremen! ts

Education, training, experience:
Qua! lifications/Experience:

• Active RN license required
• Four years psychiatric, residential, and/or community mental health recovery oriented experience preferred.
• Awareness of and experience providing trauma-informed care.
• Willingness and interest in being a part of an exciting opportunity to work in an effective model of care that values recovery, safety, learning, compassion, and joy.
• Willingness to step outside the box and join a new model of care!
