Position Overview



The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Human Resources Training Analyst in the Human Resources Department. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to four (4) months.

Under direction, performs a variety of journey-level to advanced journey-level professional, technical, and analytical activities in support of the Southern Nevada Health District’s human resources program and performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, training, marketing, business, public health or other related field is required.
Experience:
  • Four (4) years of adult training experience in public health, healthcare, public safety, emergency services or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
License or Certificate:
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain, an appropriate, valid Nevada driver’s license as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualification(s):
  • Experience managing content
  • Experience with Learning Management System(s)

This process may include any combination of written, performance, and oral assessments to evaluate job-related education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Appointment may be subject to the successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment background investigation and medical/physical examination, including a drug/alcohol test.
