Kemet Health is seeking an Intake Coordinator whose personal mission is aligned with delivering high-quality, affordable mental health care to those in need.
We are a virtual integrated mental health organization, offering tele-psychiatry and tele-therapy in ten states, and operate outpatient clinics in Springfield, Virginia; Manchester, New Hampshire; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Jackson, Mississippi; Richmond, Virginia; and Wilmington, Delaware.
We prioritize our patients health and well-being, and the clinician-patient and administrator-patient relationship.
We offer same-day appointments, accept multiple private insurance plans and limit the prescription of controlled substances.
We are looking for an Intake Coordinator to serve as an initial point of contact for all new patients. Positivity and emotional intelligence are two traits we value highly.
Location: Virtual (fully remote)

Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome new patients to practice by serve as initial virtual point of contact
- Guide patient through organizational policies, provider background, EHR & patient portal, insurance verification
- Demonstrate superior customer service experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinate with providers, billing and administrative teams
- Uphold HIPAA compliance guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Strong customer orientation
- EQ-oriented communication
- Legacy of positive relationships with patients and team members
- 5+ years of direct client service experience
- 5+ years of healthcare administration experience
- Exemplary written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality in handling sensitive enrollment issues
- Ability to work from home
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of mental health specific experience
- 2+ years of new patient intake experience
